Let us introduce ourselves!

Welcome to Diamonds in the Dirt 💎
If you know Nicole and I, then you know that we LOVE a good bargain 🙌🏻
But there’s a backstory to DITD…
I’ve always wanted my own “thing” but I never knew what that was. I didn’t want a boutique because all my friends already had awesome ones and it just didn’t well… fit my tight budget 🤣 A friend came up to me and said, “Skyelar! You’ve got to check out this thrift store! You’d love it!” And BAM there it was! The answer I’d been looking for! So like any normal girl, I had to consult my bestie, Nicole 🤷🏼‍♀️ To my surprise she loved the idea and was crazy enough to jump on the bandwagon with me and the rest is history.

It’s funny because the more I think about it, Diamonds in the Dirt truly is OUR thing. My late uncle Derek had a love for dumpster diving and picking up things off the side of the road 🤣 (sorry Sam, that’s where I learned it). That man could turn dirt into gold 💛 And our late bestie and work mom, Dianne, that woman could shop till she dropped in a thrift store or kohls, but only if she had a coupon 👜 She always could spot the diamonds in all the rough 💗 Hence, Diamonds in the Dirt 💎

But most importantly, DITD is for our 3 wonderful and wild little boys. They’re the WHY 💙 Some people see hand-me-downs and think gross, but we see memories. All three of these boys have worn the same sets of hand-me-downs and we can’t help but smile and think of the memories attached them.

So now you all know the backstory!
